cannot start a rebuilt savage,got a spark,got petrol,engine cranking but no sign of fireing,im putting petrol directly into float bowl,have checked decompression unit,i dont think ive set the timing wrong,but how do you check if if it is sparking at the right time,all valves are closed on the compression stroke[movement in rocker arms]timing marks are lined up,but how do you koow if the plug is sparking on this stroke,ian
